While we’re on the topic of revs, how many of us know what our cars sound like in traffic, doing passes, etc? Not just video or driving. Just realized the other day my car has had 3 different exhaust setups and I’ve never heard it being driven by someone else. I may need to fix that (then go “oh god that’s what it sounds like?!”)

I’ve also had this thought. I don’t really trust anyone else with my car though. So I guess I’ll never know.

This is a really good point. My car might sound like death but I wouldn’t know from the driver’s seat. There is also the problem of finding someone that I trust to drive my machine.

Thats my thinking. Plus trying to explain autostick, holding gears, keeping it out of 4th (I dont need to be in final gear at 40mph!).

You actually use your autostick? I drive a Stratus with one and didn’t know that trying to mess with it was worth my time

Ever since I retrofit the autostick in I’ve yet to not use it. So much easier to anticipate shifts, hold gears through turns or traffic, plus not shifting into 4th because I still dont want to be in final drive at 40mph!

Im not too concerned about mileage so I’d much rather cruise at 3rd at the base of the power band ready to go rather than dropping down a gear. Thank and my exhuast would be way too droney with regular auto mode
